I've joined Substack!

Will this be yet another waste of fucking time?

I’ve joined Substack! Here I am.

I don’t know how long this will last. I’m just going through a phase of trying some things, to see what sticks. The other day I started a Wordpress blog for the first time in about 20 years. People told me to come here instead, so here I am.

I read that this place is all about big posts, big newsletter sorts of things, but I don’t plan on doing anything that in depth. I plan on just hitting out with random thoughts here and there. Some short, some long, but mostly short.

Then why not just do that on Twitter? Cos Twitter’s shite. Same with Bluesky. It’s all shite. And as much as I like posting funny pictures on Instagram, I like typing. I’m enjoying this right now, for example.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading my stuff as much as I’ll enjoy typing. Please follow or subscribe or whatever the fuck it is. I haven’t switched on the paid subscription thing, I don’t have the nerve, not until you’re absolutely hooked on the free samples.
